Li Style Tai Chi Five Dragons Fist

Five Dragons Fist of Li style Tai Chi Quan is also called Five Dragons Through Cannon Boxing, created by Master Li Ruidong, a contemporary martial artist. The number five of this boxing name is referred to the five internal organs: heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney, while five colors corresponding with the five organs such as red for heart, green or purple for liver. It's referred to the dragon because of the agility of waist required during practice. Five Dragons Boxing has its unique taste as it combines both the form and sense of Bagua Boxing in appearance and the sturdiness and toughness of Shaolin Boxing in essence. As a result Five Dragon Fist is usually performed smoothly, elegantly and nimbly, with self-defense applications while improving health.
